Hello and welcome to my poetry corner! This is a collection of poems I love that I discovered through poem of the day emails, first via Poetry Foundation, and later The Academy of American Poets. Because of this, the selection does skew contemporary American, but not exclusively. I have listed the poems here in chronological order of our first encounters, and I hope that through exploration you can unearth your own connections between these fragmentary worlds, in the manner of found metapoetry.

Of course, all of these poems belong to their original owners. I do not generate revenue from any of my webpages. I have reproduced these poems out of love and admiration, for my own personal archive and as a treasure trove of discovery for any visitors, the way the poem of the day emails have been for me.
